1.1 These Terms and Conditions (“Terms”) apply to the vehicle recovery, mobile tyre fitting, and roadside assistance services arranged through independent third-party providers.
1.2 By using these services, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not proceed with your booking.
2. Service Overview
2.1 This platform operates as an intermediary, connecting customers with verified and approved recovery and mobile tyre-fitting providers.
2.2 Customers may request quotes by phone or through the website. Once a booking is confirmed, a provider will be allocated based on availability, location, and the type of service required.
2.3 Non-Refundable Deposit: A deposit must be paid to secure the selected provider. This deposit is strictly non-refundable.
3. Deposits
3.1 A deposit is required to confirm and secure a service provider.
3.2 Deposits are non-refundable under all circumstances, including cancellations, external factors, or incorrect vehicle details provided by the customer.
3.3 In rare cases where the assigned provider cannot complete the job, a partial refund may be offered at management’s discretion. This is evaluated case by case and is not guaranteed.
4. Service Provider Responsibilities & Liabilities
4.1 Upon payment of the deposit, the customer will be given the driver’s contact information.
4.2 The intermediary is not responsible for disputes between the customer and the provider. Once a service has been arranged, all further communication or requirements must be directed to the assigned driver.
4.3 All providers operate independently and are solely responsible for their own actions, performance, and liabilities. The intermediary has no control over their methods or conduct.
5. Customer Responsibilities
5.1 Accurate Information: Customers must provide accurate and complete information about their vehicle and its condition. Failure to do so may lead to additional charges or refusal of service without refund.
5.2 Customers must maintain communication with the assigned driver and follow any instructions necessary to carry out the service.
5.3 Customers are responsible for ensuring their vehicle is suitable for recovery. Any pre-existing damage or mechanical issues remain the customer’s responsibility.
6. Damage & Liability
6.1 All services are carried out by independent third-party providers. Any damage claims, disputes, or liability concerns must be taken up directly with the assigned driver. The intermediary bears no responsibility once the provider has been allocated.
6.2 Customers must inspect their vehicle before and after the service. Any concerns must be raised with the driver immediately.
6.3 The intermediary accepts no liability for loss, damage, delays, or inconvenience resulting from the actions or negligence of the service provider.
7. Charges & Payments
7.1 Deposits and payments must be made using approved methods, such as bank transfers and credit/debit cards.
7.2 Fraudulent chargebacks will be disputed with all necessary evidence provided to payment processors.
7.3 For deposits over £150, customers are strongly encouraged to pay via bank transfer.
7.4 Disbursements: Car Recoverys UK may act as an agent by subcontracting part or all of the service to independent providers. You agree that we may distribute part of your payment directly to these providers on your behalf. These charges will be itemised clearly and include no markup.
8. Dispute Resolution
8.1 In the event of a dispute, customers must first attempt to resolve the matter directly with the service provider.
8.2 If a resolution cannot be reached, disputes will be settled through arbitration in accordance with UK law. Court litigation is not available unless legally required.
9. Amendments to Terms
9.1 These Terms may be updated at any time. Continued use of the services constitutes acceptance of any changes.
10. Surge Pricing
10.1 Prices may increase during peak periods, such as weekends, public holidays, or times of high demand. Customers will be notified of any surge pricing at the time of booking.
